One contact record
for every role.

Keep details for the people and organisations you work with. A contact can be an adopter, collaborator, contributor or sponsor, with several roles on the same record.

Each user can tailor the contact dashboard to their needs, choosing from widgets for contact details, roles, adopted animals, donations and more.

Find the people your team works with

Browse contacts by name and role to find the person or organisation you need. Keep phone numbers, email addresses and other contact information available to your team.

  • Record individuals and organisations
  • Add a photo or organisation logo
  • Use role-specific contact lists

Add roles to an existing contact

When someone takes on another role, select their existing contact rather than creating a duplicate. For example, a volunteer who adopts an animal can also have the Adopter role.

  • Use one record for several roles
  • Choose a new or existing contact when adding a role
  • Keep shared contact details together

Review information relevant to each role

Role-specific records help you review the relationship with a contact. Adopter records show adopted animals, while contributor and sponsor records provide information about their support.

  • Find animals linked to an adopter
  • Review recorded contributions
  • Keep role details alongside contact information

Connect donations to the donor

Select a contact when recording income so your team can trace the payment to its source. Contributor records include donation counts and totals for reviewing recorded support.

  • Keep donations linked to the relevant contact
  • Review donation history
  • Use totals when reviewing contributions

Add fields for the information you need

In People Fields settings, create fields for all contacts or a specific role. For example, add a date for an adopter’s home visit or a sponsor reference number.

  • Choose shared or role-specific fields
  • Use formats such as text, dates, dropdowns or linked records
  • Give fields clear names your team understands

What each role adds to the same record

Organise the people who help with care

Use collaborator types for vets, volunteers, foster homes, shelters and suppliers. Organisation contacts can also have a named person for your team to contact.

  • Choose the collaborator type
  • Record a contact person for an organisation
  • Keep care providers in your contact directory

Keep contact information consistent

When a person or organisation has several roles, the shared contact record keeps their details together. Your team can find the same contact through the part of Pawsies relevant to its work.
