Keep medication schedules
clear for your team.

Enter an animal’s prescribed course, including changes in dose or frequency. Pawsies uses that schedule to show doses due and lets your team record when they have been given.

Check the medication board for today’s doses

The medication board shows courses with the animal, medication and dosage. It identifies when no dose is due today and provides a count of recorded doses against those scheduled.

  • Review the animal and medication together
  • See the current dosage and phase
  • Record doses after they are given

Enter courses with more than one phase

A phase is a part of a course with its own dosage and schedule. Add phases for the changes specified in the prescription, such as a reduced dose after the first week.

  • Set the dose for each phase
  • Enter doses per day and the interval between treatment days
  • Set how many days each phase lasts
  • Add further phases when needed

See the current stage of a course

Pawsies uses the start date and phase durations to display the course’s current phase. Your team can review the scheduled dosage and course end date alongside the animal’s name.

  • See the current phase number
  • Check the dosage shown for that phase
  • Review the course dates before recording a dose

Reuse a course template

Save a course structure as a template, then load it when entering another course. Review the animal, dates, dosage and phases so the new record matches that animal’s prescription.

  • Save a course as a template
  • Choose an existing template when adding a course
  • Review and adapt the schedule for the selected animal

Support the people giving the medication

Print a course

Use the course’s Print option to produce a copy for a caregiver or for reviewing the schedule away from the app.

Find the relevant courses

Use the medication board’s filters to narrow the courses you are reviewing. The board also identifies the animal and its location.

Keep medication information with the animal

Animal profiles include a medication widget, and dose actions appear in the activity log. These records help your team review the treatment information it has entered.

Make changes in dosage part of the schedule

Record each prescribed stage when setting up the course. The medication board gives caregivers a shared schedule to follow and a place to record the doses they administer.
